Universal Health care

So the senate is trying to pass this health bill now. What is it about "We're broke" that no one understands? I mean the government just spent all this money on "stimulating" the economy and we are pretty much in the hole. Why can't congress just put this bill on hold until we're in the black again? Oh wait. We won't be in the black until our grand kids pay it off. The government needs to learn how to live within its means like the rest of us.
Unemploment is 10.2%, and economists are saying that it will be worse by this time next year. Fewer jobs mean less revenue to the government, and yet they want to keep expanding entitlement programs. Makes no sense to me.
The funny thing is that I'm not blaming Obama cause I know that the president can not make these programs or laws, it's the congress thats making all this up. But if he signs this giant entitlement bill, then it will be a different story. I just hope that at some point I don't have to look into my kids' eyes and tell them stories about when this country had individual liberty and choice over their own lives.
