Setting the record strait.

Obama keeps saying that he inherited this economy. Well, he's right. Anyone worth their weight knows that congress makes economic policy. Before the 2008 election, congress had been controlled by a super majority of democrats for almost two years. All they could talk about was raising taxes, destroying jobs and getting a healtcare law similar to England's or any other socialized country. Mr. president, for once I agrre with you, you inherited an economy from a congress of your own party. It's time to wise up and look back to another guy that inherited a liberal made economy and fixed it. Ronald Reagan.

Equal rights for everone. Special rights for NO one!

Well the midterm elelctions are coming up and we all know that the economy and jobs will be at the fore front. Good luck Democrats! Your gonna need it.
I'm not writing today about the unemployment being at 9.6%, or why the economy is in such a shamble though. I want to touch base today on a subject that I think is just as important as the economy. Illeagal Immigration.
I know I know, "This country was built with imigrants and populated by imigrants. So why should we care if there are over eleven million illeagal immigrants now?" Well the answer to that question is simply this. Does the word "ILLEAGAL" mean anything to ya? We are a nation of laws, and I think we can all agree on that, and although most would say that we should open our doors to the weak and weary, there is something that we have to ask ourselves. Are we to survive as a nation if we continue to disregard law in the name of tolerance? Every citizen in the U.S. is guaranteed every right listed in the constitution by our creator. With that, there is no argument. But are we to extend these God given rights to Everyone and anyone who breaks the law to be here? That argument can be made all day long about who has these rights and who does not. The deeper issue is this. Should illeagal immigrants have the "special right" to break the law at the expense and sometimes the lives of our citizens? Why is it that there is such a heated debate on whether or not we should enforce our laws? I understand that there are alot of good, hardworking immigrants that are here illeagally, but being a good person does not exclude you from the law and its punishments. Martha Stewart, alot would say, was a great person, but she broke the law and did her time. Many people throughout history were good, but when they broke the law, they were punished. What makes an immigrant more deserving of amnesty than anyone else? Nothing! I believe we need a reality check in this country.

More taxes!!!

On July 1st, 2010 the sales tax is giong up to 8.8%. What a load of crap! This is why I believe everyone who runs for office shouldn't be running on new promises and better political responsibility. They should all just tell the truth and say "Hey folks! Vote for me. I'm gonna raise your taxes when times are good and bad. But don't worry, When the times are good, I'll figure out new ways to spend your money just to pacify you, but rest assured, it will all be for the children." More money for Schools. More money for the poor. More money for the streets. More money for the hospital. More money for the computers that the city uses. Has anyone ever heard of a spending freeze?! It makes me sick watching these guys take more and more of our liberty away! Run the damn government like you have to run your own family. When things get tight in my house, I CUT SPENDING ON THINGS NOT NEEDED! I don't tax my kids in order to adjust for inflation. Whats a matter with these guys? CUT SPENDING MORONS!

Long Time no Blog

How's it going folks? Been a long time since I have posted anything. Been going through some personal adversity in my life.

There is so much to write about since I have last wrote anything. Healthcare, Supreme court nominees, the election coming up in november (can't wait), and all of the other things going on nationally and internationally, but today I want to write about whats going on here in Kansas.

Once again the soft spined republicans have agreed to raise taxes here in the state of Kansas. Why do we vote for these closet liberals? Every time someone says they are a conservative, we fall for it hook line and sinker. Why is it that our elected officials don't understand that when there is a budget crisis, you must cut spending, not raise taxes. I don't mean little bit of spending here and there, I mean axing something that is just not worth having on the books. Yeah Yeah I know what alot of people are going to say; "but you can't just cut entire programs out of the government." Why not? Why can't the people look at what is on the books and decide what is worth spending their tax dollars on. I can damn near gaurantee that there are millions waisted on funding rediculous research and other frivilous projects. It's funny how the government likes to grow and spend when times are good, and when times are bad, they like to raise taxes. Makes no sense to me. The funny thing about this whole sales tax hike is if we ever get to a balanced budget again, they won't lower the taxes. We'll be stuck paying a higher tax from here on out. Thats why its so dangerous to raise taxes. It takes a little more of our liberty and freedom away bit by bit.

Economics

I wanted to take the time today to touch a little on the importance of economics and education in this country. I believe that the educational system could do us all a service if they would start teaching our children capitalism in school instead of things like cyber talk and global warming. Trust me it happens. My children go through it almost every year in the public schools. I don't understand why we expect our children to grow up and be productive members of society when they are never tought how. Very few of us teach our kids economics. I know it sounds boring, but its one of the most important aspects of our society. Schools should teach it K-12. One of the factors in poverty is education so I think that economics should be a must in our children's lives. If anyone is interested on how to become more familiar with economics and how capitalism works, any book from Milton Friedman is a good read. He was one of the most intelligent and articulate capitalist educators of our time. Amazon.com has a great selection of his books. Why government is the problem, Capitalism and freedom, and Free to choose are just three great reads.

Go to youtube.com and type in milton friedman on donahue.

This is a great video. Take the time to watch. This is Dr. Friedman taking apart the idea of socialism and redistribution of wealth.

2010 looks to be a good year for conservatives!

Finally! Election year is here and it looks pretty good for the republicans. This whole first year of the Obama administration has been terrible for the dems, and vice versa. Not to mention the country.

The best news is that there are some democrats that are retiring and that leaves their seat open for a real election chance for the conservatives. It's my hope that the country has finally opened their eyes to what true liberalism is.

We are, as a whole, a conservative country. I have never met anyone who wants to pay higher taxes, open the borders, destroy Christianity, live under complete government control, or have the government spend every last dime in the treasury. What a disaster year for the country. We have, for the first time in history, a congress and a president that competely ignore what the people of this country want. We all want the government to be responsible.

The constitution clearly states that the government is supposed to look out for the general welfare of the people, but a complete federal takeover of the private sector is rediculous. I could go on and on about all of the things that this administration wants to take over, but I will just touch on healthcare.

We keep hearing about how this bill is going to save money and improve healthcare across the board. Lets look at the facts for a minute. The dems keep talking about how bad it is that the health care industry makes up about one sixth of the economy. Well thats true, but I don't think its a bad thing, at least not for the private practices. What they don't tell you is medicare and medicaid make up about 58% of that cost. Two government run programs that are in the hole, doesn't provide enough helthcare for our seniors, and allows for monumental abuse. This is the model that the dems want for everyone. On top of all that, they want to fine you if you choose not to have insurance.

Again, another example of democrats trying to take something that works, the private sector, and break it down to a second class, government run package of hamburger, and try to tell us that it's a ribeye.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again. The government has to be run like we run our own lives. Budgets, sacrifices, and lean on the things that work. our best asset in this economy is the private sector. Pleasde don't let the liberals destroy it.

Tyranny in the white house. Socialists in congress. Merry christmas to all. Enjoy it while its still here folks, because god knows the libs are going to wage war on that too. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, and a happy new year. God bless ya.
